How do I find the property?

The following information may be helpful for researching and successfully locating property.

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is an agency within the U.S. Department of the Interior that administers 262 million acres of American public lands, located primarily in 12 Western States.  Because of this responsibility this agency has vast resources about rural property in the states Mission Equity Properties LLC sells property.  We suggest you contact a field office where the property is located and ask them any questions you may have about the property prior to attempting to locate land in the field.  A list of field offices may be found at http://www.blm.gov
BLM REGIONAL MAP
- This item is a "must have" prior to planning a site visit. The map shows by Range, Township and Section, the primary and secondary roads and trails leading to the property in which you are interested.  This map should be used as a guide along with a typical road atlas.
Also helpful are the following items;
A. General driving Directions
- These can be found on Mission Equity Properties' auction posting.  They may contain errors and omissions so be sure to confirm them with the BLM map.
B. Plat Map - This map is used to indicate the location and boundaries of individual properties such as block and lots, we suggest using this map once arriving in the general area of the property.
C. Road Atlas & Gazzetter  - This guide shows detailed topographic maps, back roads and G.P.S. grids.  This map should be your guide throughout most of your travels.
D. Legal Description - This is the description of property used to identify real estate and can be located in the auction posting or a deed.  This description works together with the BLM map.
E. Global positioning system (GPS) - GPS uses satellites as reference points to calculate positions accurate to a matter of meters, giving every square meter on the planet a unique address (GPS Codes) such as the property described. This system is very helpful but not completely necessary.  GPS codes may be found in the auction posting or by emailing Mission.
A very important note:  Mission Equity Properties provides driving directions in its auction postings as a courtesy to its customers.  They may contain errors or omissions and may not be relied upon.  They should by no means be the only source of information considered when planning a site visit.
